“I think that I may disagree with Senator Clinton or Senator Edwards on how to get there, but we share the same goals. We’re all Democrats,” Mr. Obama said. “We all believe in civil rights. Is it too much to hope that Barack will end up as Hillary’s running mate? The main argument in favor of the possibility is that it just makes so much sense. Such a ticket would be all-but invincible. These are two very intelligent people so we surely can’t completely rule out the possibility that they will do the smart thing. If Obamas’s supporters can just follow his lead and keep it positive until Super Tuesday . . .
